Apparently the paparazzi in Prague are worse than other places - at least that's what Angelina Jolie thinks. The other day, Jolie, who is in the Czech Republic filming a movie, got so angry over the constant snapping of the paps that she locked herself in a hotel bathroom and started screaming. "This is a horrible country!" Angelina allegedly exclaimed. "I'm never coming back here again! I don't care if it costs me a billion dollars, I'm not going to stay here another hour. Even Africa wasn't this bad."
In Angelina's defense, it was not a picture of her that allegedly sent her over the edge but a snap of one of her kids. Might I suggest, then, not bringing the kids along when you go on movie-shoots in places where there are photographers?
It's sort of a no-win situation for Angelina isn't it? If she brings the kids, she's horrible for exposing them to the paparazzi - if she doesn't bring them, she's a bad mother who dumps her impressionable younguns on nannies. Wish I knew something to suggest for Angie, who seems to be suffering some measure of emotional turmoil lately. Maybe in the end she'll just have to choose - fame or family. Of course, without fame, she's going to lose all those U.N. missionary opportunities. Funny thing about having that platform - you have to be famous to begin with or no one gives it to you. Normal people who want to help are stuck joining the Peace Corps or giving money to Sally Struthers. Neither of these are options for Jolie, who requires the deep, spiritual satisfaction that can only come from being a publicly-recognized humanitarian. Guess Angelina will just have to put up with the photographers then. Either that or use her magic to surround herself with a cloak of invisibility. Shouldn't be too hard for someone powerful enough to endure sex with Billy Bob Thornton.
